Health and Dental Insurance


Summers Manufacturing Co., Inc. will pay 100% of the premium for your health and dental insurance (single health plan) after you have completed 30 days of employment. You may purchase family coverage for either health or dental. Premiums will be withheld before taxes.

Short-Term Disability Insurance

Summers Manufacturing Co., Inc. provides short-term disability insurance after your introductory period. The short-term disability pays you 60% of your regular weekly salary for up to 13 weeks. Short-term disability begins on the first day of hospitalization or the seventh calendar day.

Life and Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance


Summers Manufacturing Co., Inc. provides you with life and AD&D insurance once you have completed your 30-day introductory period. The life insurance coverage is equal to $25,000.

Paid Time Off (PTO)

Summers Manufacturing Co., Inc. believes employees should have opportunities to enjoy time away from work to help balance their lives. For this reason Summers Manufacturing Company, Inc. provides a Paid Time Off (PTO) program to all full-time employees. Upon completing your 60 days of employment, you may begin to use your PTO.

Employer Sponsored 401k Plan

Summers Manufacturing Company, Inc. provides an opportunity for employees to participate in the 401k plan after 90 days of employment with an employer match up to 4%. Employees can choose either Roth or pre-tax contributions. There is no vesting schedule, employees are immediately 100% vested in employer and employee contributions.
